Discussing the power of authentic storytelling through Dhalinyaro, a film that challenges stereotypes, amplifies voices, and highlights its role in international development & cultural representation.
Ella!! I really enjoyed this, I love how you brought in a development angle into your analysis of the film! Generally, it also just sounds like a wonderful, meaningful, and emotionally rich film! I agree with you, I love when African stories aren't just about suffering, like nuance is so important & I feel like it also really shows the audience in mind too, like who is the story even for? So cool that you got to hear the director speak.... and went to the screening alone, too...very, very inspiring!
very cool, I wonder when the next screening of this film will be! definitely interested in watching this film now.
I believe it’s on prime video now!
